An elegant red wine is from producers Piaggia , made with a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese grapes.
It belongs to Toscana region of Italy. Its vineyards are at an altitude of 250 m. above sea level, with exposure to the South-West, on soil rich in clay and marl.
The grapes are harvested strictly by hand and are vinified in small containers to favor the optimal extraction of the components of the skin.
Fermentation is carried out with natural yeasts in respect of the terroir with a permanence of the wine on the skins of at least 18/20 days during which punching down and very short pumping over are carried out.
Aging is done for 15 months in small French oak barrels, then at least 6 months in bottle.
To enjoy it at its best it is recommend to let the wine 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving in large goblets glasses.
