Argiano is an estate in the Tuscan region of Montalcino. It is well-known for its Sangiovese-based red wines under the traditional Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, and more modern red wines under the IGT Toscana designation.
Today, the Argiano estate extends across over 300 acres, occupied by vineyards, olive groves and woods.
It is made with Sangiovese (or Nielluccio in Corsica), a dark-berried vine which is the most widely planted grape variety in Italy.
