Since its brilliant straw color with golden hues, the glass reflects the light of Sicilian mornings; in its large and expressive bouquet there are hints of citrus, almond blossom, broom and white peach. The wine has a very savory finish, thanks to the marine minerals of which the soil of Belicello is very rich.
Tivitti is perfect with fresh fish from the Mediterranean: fried shrimps and bavette with seafood are my favorite dishes, which play with the flavor of the wine, enhancing the flavor of the sea.
Another classic combination is with boiled, baked or grilled vegetables and vegetables, perhaps seasoned with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and two drops of lemon, which can be a tasty and light appetizer or a quick midday snack.
A tip for most; bold? Definitely the orange salad with anchovies, a traditional Sicilian dish that marries sweet, bitter and salty in a circle of contrasts absolutely to try.
Wines are produced by practicing organic farming and natural winemaking, with the utmost respect for the terroir of Menfi.
In the vineyard herbicides, chemical fertilizers or systemic products are not used committing to safeguard the land that nourishes us and to protect the rich biodiversity of the natural environment in which I live and work.
In the cellar work is done only with spontaneous fermentations and with simple and non-invasive oenological practices, limiting or completely excluding the use of additives that can alter the personality and expressiveness of the wines and their link with the land that generates them.
