The vineyards of the flat lowlands produce grapes brimming with amazing energy, rich in mineral salts that bring out the clean, clear fragrances and dry flavor of the of the wines.
The relevant productin rules permit the Lambrusco Grasparossa vine to be cultivated alongside a modest percentage of Lambrusco and Fortana ("Uva d’Oro") varieties. None the less the wine is essentially derived from the vine of the same name.
The bunch is loose and cone-shaped , of medium length, with spheroidal blue-colored pruinous berries. The skin is thick, the flesh is juicy, sweet and slightly sour.
The wine is a beautiful ruby red colored with violet tinges and evanescent mousse to go well as an aperitif and divinely with Modena’s typical pastries and desserts.
