The Wildbacher of Col Sandago is based on the Wilbacher vine originating from Austria, which is enriched with nuances and intensity in the Treviso hills.

It is a companion wine, which predisposes to meeting and conviviality.

The grapes grow on the hills of Col Sandago in a calcareous clayey soil, with a sandstone skeleton.

The harvest is manual and takes place in early October.

Traditional vinification follows: pressing and fermentation of the must with maceration on the skins for 15-20 days at a temperature of 26-28 degrees, with daily pumping over.

Malolactic fermentation then takes place.

Aging takes place for 24-30 months in oak barrels, half new and half of the first or second passage. Resting in the bottle for another 12 months follows which results in an exquisite wine.
