Dolcetto d'Alba is one of seven Dolcetto-focused DOC wines produced in Italy's north-western Piedmont region. The wine is named after the grape from which it is made and the area where it is produced.
It is made with Dolcetto, a dark-skinned wine grape from the Monferrato hills of northwestern Italy. It produces soft, fruity wines with colors varying from deep ruby to purple.
With an alcohol strength of 14.5% this red wine is best served in medium goblet glasses at temperature of 16-18 degrees Celsius in the beautiful evenings.
