The name Feudi Salentini refers precisely to the period of Feudalism when Carrozze and Castles, Ladies and Knights were the protagonists of the magnificent panorama of this enchanted land where wine was considered the most prestigious and healthy drink. Cosimo and Maria Teresa Varvaglione, with a team of young collaborators, every day write a story made of quality and love for this land. Vines cultivated with sapling, hand-picked grapes as then, ancient knowledge handed down over time ...
Philia comes from Primitivo di Manduria vineyards that are over 50 years old and yield around 50 quintals per hectare. The nose releases mainly aromas of cherry, ripe plum, black currant and spicy notes. Wine of excellent structure, the taste is opulent, rich in pleasant hints of various spices and with a strong presence of licorice. It goes very well with almond-based desserts and even aged cheeses.
