Chardonnay “Lafoà” is one of the leading products of the entire range made by Colterenzio in Appiano. In fact, it is a bottle that belongs to the “selections” line, whose name refers to the great qualitative revolution started in the 1980s by Colterenzio, a cooperative reality that began at that time a path based on absolute quality and low yields in vineyard.
It comes from selected vineyards at an altitude of about 450 - 550 m asl; gravelly, sandy, medium-textured soil with limestone deposits.
The vinification takes place with short cold maceration of the destemmed grapes, soft pressing and fermentation at 18 ° C in steel.
Aging is done for 12 months on the lees and subsequent maturation for 6 months in the bottle.
