This white wine is made with Ribolla grapes.
Ribolla is a white wine grape variety that is widely planted in the northeastern Italian province of Friuli. It can be found in neighboring Slovenia, where it is known as Rebula.
After harvesting the grapes are separated from the stalks. The must and pulp undergo a cold maceration on the skins followed by a light pressing to separate the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel temperature controlled tanks.
The wine thus obtained is left to refine some months on the lees before being bottled.
It is served best in medium open goblet glasses at a temperature of 6-8 degree Celsius.
