Young, fresh, lively as a puppy - this is KITZ, our new wine. We wanted to create a modern and casual white cuvée - slightly aromatic and above all drinkable. In 2017 we present KITZ for the first time on the market. The name is inspired by the German word for baby ibex
This white cuvée is fresh, fruity and soft. Hannes has mainly chosen three varieties: Sauvignon is clearly recognizable thanks to its scent, Pinot Bianco gives the wine its elegance and Pinot Grigio its enamel.
It is a wine that wants to be drunk for fun, as an aperitif with friends or as an accompaniment to light first courses.
The Rottensteiner family is one of the first winemaking families in the province of Bolzano. The soil on which the wine grows is of porphyritic origin, typical of the region. This rock, the red stone, gives its name to the Rottensteiner. Today, Toni and Annes run the winery together, supported by the women of the family. Most of the products are monovarietal with particular attention to the typical varieties of the Bolzano area. Vineyard hectares: 97
