Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan is a wine producer situated in the Alto Adige region of northeastern Italy. It is a cooperative of 340 winemakers who cultivate approximately 380 hectares (939 acres) of vineyards primarily planted on the southeast-facing slopes of the Mendel Massif in Eppan.

Montiggl Riesling from St. Michael Eppan’s single vineyard Selection Line is produced from grapes from the Montiggl vineyard laying above the large Montiggler Lake. The local porphyry soils give the wine its backbone.

It is made with Riesling, a light-skinned, aromatic grape of German origin which is – if the majority of top wine critics are to be believed – the world's finest white wine grape variety.

Fermentation of the wine is done in stainless-steel tanks, followed by development on the lees for another five months.
