SPIRITS
Spirits are alcoholic beverages obtained through a process called distillation of liquids with a vegetable origin, using stills. They include rum from the distillation of sugar cane, cognac and armagnac from the distillation of wine, grappa from the distillation of marc, calvados from the distillation of apple cider, whisky and gin from the distillation of cereals, vodka from cereals and potatoes, and others.
