Agricola Tedeschi is a wine producer situated in the Valpolicella wine district of northeast Italy. It has a winemaking history dating back four centuries and is synonymous with Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella wines.
Amarone della Valpolicella is an intensely flavored dry red wine made from dried (passito) grapes. It is made in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, and is one of the region's most prestigious red wines.
It is made with blend of 35% Corvina, 35% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella and 10% Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara, Dindarella grapes.
Grapes are dried in fruit storage structure at controlled humidity 4 months. Soft pressing is done later on fruits.
Alcoholic fermentation and maceration is done for 40/60 days/temperature 15° C.
Ageing is done in Slavonian oak barrel for about 3 years followed by blending Bottling and bottle ageing for 6 months.
