An elegant & refined red wine is a full-bodied wine grows in 20 years old vines site on marly and limestone soils, at 250 meters above sea level, South/South-East facing which is grown organically.
Grapes blend used is Chianti Blend which refers to classic, long-established combination of wine grapes used in the wines of Chianti and other parts of Tuscany. The blend’s primary constituent is Tuscany's favorite grape variety, Sangiovese, which is combined with Merlot & Syrah grapes.
After destemming it is followed by feet crushing in wood tanks and then spontaneous fermentation in oak casks is done.
Ageing is done for 12 months in barriques, new for the 20%, 12 months in concrete vats and at least 9 months in bottle.
The volume on the palate is delightful with the pleasants sweetness of the fruit, the structure develops with a dense texture of mature, soft tannins that ensure length and a pleasantly delicious aftertaste.
It is a balanced, high-class wine that will develop up-to twenty years from vintage.
To enjoy it at its best it is recommended to let the wine rest in a decanter at least 1 or 2 hours before serving in Ballon glasses.
