The wine is a product of Sangiovese grapes grown in vineyard on the mountain with soil of medium clayey with pebbles situaed at an altitude of100-140 m asl which are exposed in south-east of directions.
The average age of the vines is 10-15 years with plant density (vines / ha) of 5000,Prod. per vine (kg / plant) to be 1.5 and production per hectare (q / ha) of 75.
Fruits are harvested in first ten days of September by hand which are destemmed and soft pressed.
Wine is vinified in thermo-conditioned steel vats with maceration time of 10 days only in particular years followed by aging in in 25 hl oak barrels.
